I have a blog?
So, I skipped the whole month of January and established that the word "soon" has a very loose definition in my dictionary. Things are going well, I just haven't sat down to write about them.
I've been enjoying my slower-paced life. The house is slowly getting cleaned, time is being wasted on soaps, naps, and thinking up endless hobbies that I never start. Things are swell. Little Miss Baby Girl is kicking more and more..growing every day. I had my blood glucose test for gestational diabetes and I'm assuming I don't have it or they would've told me by now. I also had an antibody screen and a Rhogam shot to take care of our conflicting blood types. That also went well. So everything's on track. Beki was even kind enough to let me go through a TON of Malia's old clothes which helps me out tremendously! So far I only have one outfit and a t-shirt!! Thanks Beki!! And thanks to her dad and husband who braved the winter weather tonight to bring the goods. The weather is crazy out there!!
I had to pull Adam out of the ditch tonight. He made it all the way home and when he went to turn into the driveway the truck just kept going straight. So to get out of the road, he hammered the truck into the ditch and almost made it...but not quite. But my beast of a Grand Am got him out. We had no doubt the car would perform.
Well, I hope you all have nice plans for Valentine's Day. We're getting our taxes done. The romance is really dwindling here. Ha! What do we need Valentine's Day for anyways? I was telling Adam that I think the day was invented by men so that they would be off the hook for the rest of the year. St. Valentine was a man after all. Who knows?
Well, the kitchen is calling and I'm all out of info. Hopefully I'll update again in the near future. I should say thank you to all the people that have faithfully and consistently checked back here just to be disappointed for the last two months. I love you all...I'll try not to put you through that torture again. However, reading this may have been more torture. Peace out.
